Dr Liggett recently returned from his annual mission trip to Jamaica. He was working in the north-eastern part of the country, in Portland parish. He extracted nearly 500 teeth, while he and his team made over a hundred dentures and performed over a hundred cleanings. The members of the team that Dr Liggett works with are dentists, hygienists, and assistants from across the south, most of them being from the Jacksonville ,FL area. Dr Jim Gaff, from Jacksonville, started this all dental mission trip 9 years ago, with Dr Liggett being one of the founding members. This year marked Dr Liggett’s 13th trip to the island.
